SKT teams with Arm, Rebellion on AI inference data centers

SK Telecom is partnering with Arm and Korean AI chip startup Rebellion to develop AI data center infrastructure, as the industry shifts from model training to inference, the South Korean mobile carrier said Friday. The three companies inked a partnership Thursday to build a server solution combining Arm's new data center processor, the Arm AGI CPU, with Rebellion's upcoming AI chip RebelCard, slated for release in the third quarter.
