Severe lightning alerts issued for several provinces

The Department of Meteorology has issued an advisory for severe lightning affecting several parts of the country, including the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North Western and Uva provinces, as well as the Galle, Matara and Anuradhapura districts.
