South Korean stocks started a tad lower Wednesday following a record-breaking rally, amid lingering uncertainties over US-Iran peace talks. The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index fell 11.05 points, or 0.17 percent, to 6,377.42 in the first 15 minutes trading. After opening 0.01 percent lower, the index hit an all-time intraday high of 6,399.05 around 9:02 a.m., but soon turned lower again.
