At least 69 people are now known to have killed in an attack in the northeastern Democratic Republic of Congo, last month. Security officials say rebels from the CODECO group carried out the attack in Ituri province. And that insecurity in the area delayed the recovery of bodies for several days. The area has been gripped by years of violence between several armed groups competing for land and resources.
