Seadrill lands $480m drillship extension with Petrobras

New York-listed driller Seadrill has secured a long-term extension for its ultra-deepwater drillship West Polaris, keeping the rig working for Petrobras offshore Brazil into the next decade. The 1,095-day extension covers continued operations at the Búzios field in the Santos Basin and is set to begin in direct continuation of the current contract in January
