RIYADH — Saudi Arabia has been elected Vice Chair of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Council, represented by Deputy Minister for International Cooperation and Partnerships at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Mansour Al-Qurashi.The appointment was confirmed following the ITU Council’s 2026 session held in Geneva.Saudi Arabia has been a member of the ITU Council since 1965.
