Saudi air defenses intercept 18 drones hours after downing 11 missiles

RIYADH — Saudi air defenses intercepted and destroyed 18 drones over the past several hours on Tuesday, Ministry of Defense spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki said.The interceptions came just hours after Saudi defenses shot down 11 ballistic missiles over the Eastern Province earlier in the day.Debris from the intercepted missiles fell near energy facilities, with authorities continuing to assess any potential damage.
