Report: U.S. preparing for ground operation in Iran to last weeks, officials say

According to the Washington Post, a combination of special forces and infantry troops would be deployed in raids on Iranian territory, which would fall short of a full invasion. U.S. President Donald Trump has yet to approve some, or any, of the plans, the officials said
