Relief for commuters as Sydney Metro adds new trains

Sydney Metro has added three new trains to help manage rising demand amid the fuel crisis. Wait times for passengers will decrease from 10 minutes to seven minutes on weekends. On weekdays, services will run more frequently, with waits reduced to around a three and a half minute wait. The move comes after the New South Wales government rejected calls to make public transport free for a month as fuel prices surged.
