KINGSTON, Jamaica - Jamaican midfielder Tyreek Magee has been signed to the Colorado Switchbacks FC, covering the 2026 and 2027 USL Championship seasons with an option for 2028.Magee played with the switchbacks previously when the team won the United Soccer League (USL) title in 2024.The Reggae Boy, who spent two straight seasons in the Wray Nephew Jamaica Premier League with Mount Pleasant Football Academy, had told the Jamaica Observer in December he was ready to play anywhere.“I want to go on and play higher; I feel like I can play anywhere in the world,” he said.READ: Reggae Boy Magee not giving up on big overseas transfer after early success with Mount PleasantMagee also played at Vere United pending a move to an overseas club that did not materialise, resulting in him being without a club and training on his own for over four months.He had told the Observer in December I just want to focus on football, just enjoy it, not too much pressure.
