Power rationing up for discussion as NT struggles to keep the lights on

A shortage of diesel could affect the provision of power to communities in the Northern Territory. More than 50 remote power stations run on diesel to keep the lights on in remote communities. Northern Territory Labor MP suggest there may be conversations about having to restrict or ration power in regional and remote communities. The flow of effects of rising fuel costs is also hitting goods and services hard.
