Pete Hegseth fires top Army officer

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has fired a top Army officer, according to three U.S. military officials. Chief Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell confirmed Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George’s departure in a statement.
