US Studies Centre Research Director Jared Mondschein says the Secret Service officers who were at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner were “operating effectively”. Mr Mondschein told Sky News Australia that they did their jobs “thoroughly” to ensure the safety of US President Donald Trump. “The question, I guess, that we all have is whether it’s not a matter of security on the day of, but the security in the days before.”
