
Oman, Iran open diplomatic talks to restore Strait of Hormuz transit

Oman and Iran are reportedly holding a meeting to examine options to ensure smooth flow of transit for ships, through the Strait of Hormuz. Iran and Oman share that critical waterway, but Iran has been asserting control over it, since the war started. The few ships that Tehran has allowed to pass through the Strait have been forced to cross closer to Iran's coast.
