Novatek creates shipbuilding arm

Novatek, Russia’s largest independent natural gas producer, has officially expanded its vertical integration by establishing a dedicated shipbuilding subsidiary. The move, seen as a strategic pivot to bypass escalating Western sanctions, marks a significant shift in how the Arctic LNG specialist intends to manage its future fleet requirements. The new entity, registered as Severny Inzhiniring
