Nasarawa Accountant-General Resigns, Declares Governorship Bid for 2027

The Accountant General of Nasarawa State, Rt Hon. Musa Ahmed Mohammed, has officially resigned his appointment to join the state’s 2027 gubernatorial race. Mohammed, who previously served as the Speaker of the 3rd Nasarawa State House of Assembly from 2007 to 2015, made his announcement in Lafia, citing a call from stakeholders throughout the state.
