Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and Ruler of Dubai, launched a new humanitarian initiative under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives to eliminate river blindness. The project targets 7 million beneficiaries over the next three years and will be implemented by Noor Dubai.His Highness said in a post on his account on the X platform: “We have launched, with the grace of God, under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, a new humanitarian project to eliminate river blindness, targeting 7 million beneficiaries over the next three years, implemented by Noor Dubai.
