In a heartfelt post on Instagram on Good Friday, Wilkinson shared photographs and videos of herself in hospital during her time at the facility. She said, unexpectedly, that's how she spent her birthday.

However, the attorney, known for her bubbly personality, says she is home resting at this time.I'm happy I have an obedient spirit and listened to my body when something just didn't feel right. It was frightening and humbling, but I'm grateful to say that I'm now home and healing nicely, Wilkinson wrote.She expressed gratitude for the medical team that treated her, especially for their professionalism, care, and compassion during such a vulnerable moment.Wilkinson also had high praises for husband, Ian, as well as her mother - a nurse anesthetist - who was by her side during the ordeal. To my forever blessing, my amazing husband; thank you for being my rock through it all- your love, patience, strength carried me in ways I can't even put into words. Yuh nuh easy at all enuh! You are my happy space and yuh really stabilize my nervous system! Wilkinson stated. She added, And to my Mom, the one and only Lady Marj, OD... Nurse Anesthesist extraordinaire and my prayer warrior, thank you for being right there beside me with the kind of support only a mother can give.The mother of one said the toughest part of her recovery has been not being able to lift her toddler daughter or play with her as she usually would.Like most toddlers, she always wants to play and be in Mommy's arms, climb on Mommy, ask Mommy to come play in her ball pit, and having to tell her 'not yet sweety... Mommy not well', has been the most emotional part of this journey, Wilkinson revealed.Meanwhile, she is thanking her followers for their love and support, as well as for the many birthday wishes she has received. On this Good Friday, I'm reflecting deeply on the mercy and goodness of God and how grateful I am for life, health, family, strength and people who care. Please keep me in your prayers as I continue to heal. Your love and support mean everything to me, and I look forward to being back with you all soon, Wilkinson said. She also took the opportunity to wish her followers a happy and safe Easter.
