Meta, Snapchat, TikTok and YouTube Aren’t Fully Complying With Child Account Ban, Says Australia

The Australia’s eSafety Commissioner announced Tuesday that Meta’s Facebook and Instagram, along with TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube, are under scrutiny for their compliance with legislation that took effect on December 10. The laws explicitly ban children under the age of 16 from holding accounts on these platforms.
