KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police are advising the motoring public that the westbound lane of the Mandela Highway, heading towards Spanish Town and Portmore, which was previously blocked due to a shooting incident, has now been reopened.The westbound lane was cordoned off following a shooting incident on Friday where one man was killed and another injured.The incident reportedly occurred around 7:15 am when a Ford Transit motor truck was travelling westbound along the Mandela Highway and reached the intersection with Caymanas.
