Lockheed launches rapid production hub

U.S. arms maker Lockheed Martin opened a new Rapid Fielding Center designed to accelerate the development, testing, and prototype production of next-generation defense systems for U.S. government customers, the company said in a statement. The new center integrates engineering, prototyping, and manufacturing functions in a single modular environment.
