Canada’s Switzerland While I am not in the separate Alberta camp, I do see their rationale. Alberta is like Switzerland, jam-packed with economic benefits for all. Switzerland is bordered on all sides by Italy, Germany, Austria and France. No tidewater, yet uninhibited of exporting goods. Canada can’t even achieve that goal within our own borders. []
