Leopard strike kills foreign Buddhist monk in Kudumbigala Monastery

A Czechoslovakian Buddhist monk living in Kudumbigala Monastery in Kumana National Park had passed away owing to serious injuries caused by a wild animal. Police and the wildlife officials suspect that the Ven. Thera would have been charged by a leopard. The 45-year-old Ven. Nanda Thera had been practicing meditation in a rock cave in Bambaragasthalawa archaeological site.
