Environment and Water Minister Murray Watt has addressed the backlash to the Labor government breaking its election promises regarding changes to capital gains tax and negative gearing. “We have spent the last four years investing very heavily in housing supply, particularly in social and affordable housing,” Mr Watt told Sky News Australia. “We recognise there are still problems in the housing market.”
