La Trobe Financial Chief Executive Chris Andrews discussed the rising financial risks for borrowers and the potential for increased returns for investors. “We don't try to over-return for investors because to do that at times like this, it means you’ve got to produce excess risk, and that's what we don't want to do," Mr Andrews told Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood.
“As interest rates go up, investors will feel that in an increase in a rate of return. “And we always forget that, we talk about interest rates, it is tough on borrowers, but for investors it's an increase in a monthly salary, and that's not such a bad thing.” In partnership with LaTrobe Financial.
