Israel kills Red Cross paramedic in air strike in south Lebanon

The Lebanese Red Cross said the vehicle was clearly marked and had coordinated safe passage with a UN peacekeeping mission before the attack, condemning what it called a violation of humanitarian principles. The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies also condemned the strike, saying humanitarian workers must be protected.
