Iran and Israel announce end of strikes against each other after Donald Trump's intervention

Iran and Israel have announced to end strikes against each other after US President Donald Trump intervened earlier today. The Islamic Republic warned of any further aggression and hostile acts - including against Lebanon - would lead to much more severe and crushing measures than before. Iran’s top military command Khatam al-Anbiya central headquarters said: Accordingly, the operations of the armed forces are hereby declared halted; however, it is emphasised that if the aggressions and acts of mischief continue — including in southern Lebanon — much more severe and crushing actions than before will follow.Israeli media are reporting a senior official has said they will halt strikes on Iran at President Trump's request. He took to social media to say Iran and Israel were looking to do an immediate ceasefire.Writing on Truth Social, he said: Both sides, Israel and Iran, are looking to do an immediate CEASEFIRE!Final negotiations on 'Peace' are proceeding, subject to ignorance or stupidity getting in its way.The Blockade will remain in place, and in full force and effect, until a 'Final Deal' is reached.
