India Buys Iranian Oil for 1st Time in 7 Years, Resumes Crude and LPG Imports amid Middle East Conflict

India has resumed importing Iranian crude oil and LPG for the first time since 2019 to stabilise energy supply amid Middle East disruptions. After a temporary easing of U.S. sanctions, the Petroleum Ministry said payment issues were resolved, with a 44,000-metric ton LPG shipment arriving in Mangalore.
