In Australia, popular platforms face $34M fine for violating under-16s ban

Global scrutiny against social media giants is on the rise. In Australia - Meta, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Snapchat are under investigation over potentially failing to comply with the world's first under-16s social media ban. The companies now face penalties of up to 34 million dollars each. Our correspondent Kristina Simich reports.
