A Chinese humanoid robot has broken the world’s half-marathon record. Several of the robot frontrunners overtook professional athletes, beating them by more than 10 minutes. The winning robot finished at 50 minutes and 26 seconds, while the human record is 57 minutes and 20 seconds. It’s an improvement from last year’s champion robot, which recorded a time of two hours and 40 minutes, more than double that of the human winner.
