House rent goes up in Finland in Q1

The rents of non-subsidised dwellings have risen most from the previous year in one-room flats in Vaasa (2.1), in two-room flats in Rovaniemi (1.9) and in family dwellings in Joensuu and Rovaniemi (1.5). The rents of one-room flats fell by 0.2 per cent in Greater Helsinki. In the rest of Finland, the rents of one-room flats went up by 0.6 per cent. The rents of government-subsidised dwellings went up by 2.5 per cent in Greater Helsinki and by 2.0 per cent in the rest of the country in a year. The rents of government-subsidised dwellings increased most in Joensuu, by 3.8 per cent, in Vaasa, by 3.6 per cent, and in Mikkeli, by 3.4 per cent.
