Hong Kong police have arrested a man who robbed a bank in Wan Chai, with the force’s preliminary investigations revealing HK36,000 was stolen. Police received a report at 12.26pm after a man robbed a branch of Bank of East Asia in Harbour View Centre before fleeing the scene on a bicycle. Officers arrested the suspect at Wan Tsui Shopping Centre in Chai Wan 1½ hours later.
