Sydney University Senior Research Fellow Dr Nicholas Chartres says that despite alcohol’s role in society, it is vital to understand the health risks linked to it, suggesting that health warning labels and restricted advertising are options to tackle the issue. “Ultra-processed foods and alcohol, things that are, you know, a normal part of society … the important thing to understand here is that … there are health risks associated with these products,” Dr Chartres told Sky News Australia.
