Goat thieves nabbed in St Mary

He returned a day later to discover that it had been broken into, and a 30inch television, a DVD player and an Oster clothes Iron with a combined value of 41,000 were missing. Several articles of clothing, shoes and perfumes valued at 176,500 were also stolen.In the second incident, a man was in his yard when he observed a white Toyota Probox with two men aboard at his gate. He further reported that one of the two men exited the vehicle, entered the yard and grabbed one of his goats. The goat was then placed into the trunk of the vehicle, and the suspects sped off. The goat owner reportedly made an alarm, and the police were alerted.The lawmen managed to intercept the vehicle in another section of the parish, and both men were arrested. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of the items, which were stolen in Cox Piece district a few days earlier. The men reportedly later confessed to stealing two goats and led lawmen to where they had hidden them.Gibore and Fagan were charged on Saturday, April 18, after a caution statement and a question-and-answer session.They are scheduled to appear in the St Mary Parish Court on Thursday, April 23.
