The Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy recently held open-ship events across multiple cities to mark its 77th anniversary, with more than 40 active-duty vessels opened to the public. Aboard the guided-missile frigate Yixing, a seven-year-old girl performed the traditional Yingge dance, delighting visitors with her lively movements. The folk dance, originating from south China’s Guangdong Province, has gained growing popularity nationwide in recent years.
