‘Getting close’: Trump claims Iran war is ‘nearing completion’

US President Donald Trump claims his core strategic objectives in Iran are nearing completion. “Our objectives are very simple and clear,” Mr Trump said. “We are systematically dismantling the regimes’ ability to threaten America or project power outside of its borders. “These core strategic objections are nearing completion. “We are going to finish the job, and we’re going to finish it very fast; we’re getting close.”
