GB News Daily Reflection — Tuesday 12th May 2026

In John's Gospel, Chapter 14, he says, in effect, that it isn't the end. It's part of something bigger. And then he makes this promise that probably sounded confusing at the time. It's better for you that I go because the Holy Spirit will come. This is something hard to grasp. How could it be better? When Jesus was physically on earth, he was in one place at one time, but after his ascension to heaven, his presence wouldn't be limited anymore. Through the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, the Comforter, God's presence would be with every believer everywhere at all Times. And Jesus adds this deeply personal line I will not leave you as orphans. In other words, you're not being left to figure out life on your own. You have a father in heaven. For us today, that matters more than we might realise.WATCH ABOVE. Our Standards: The GB News Editorial Charter
