Gas prices up $4.50, diesel down $0.25

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, April 23, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.With both grades of gasoline up by 4.50, 90-octane will be sold for 188.57 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for 181.13.Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for 188.75 per litre after a decrease of 0.25, and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for 195.59 per litre, down by 0.25.Kerosene decreased by 0.25 and will be sold for 178.14 per litre.Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for 78.88 per litre, up by 1.20, and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for 86.80 per litre, down 1.00.Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-ups to these prices.
