A total of 200 million tonnes of goods were transported by lorries in domestic road transport in 2025, which is 13 per cent lower from 2024, according to Statistics Finland. In 2025, the volume of goods transported by domestic lorries in international transport was 2.2 million tonnes, which was 34 per cent less than in 2024. The transport performance amounted to EUR 1.5 billion, which was 18 per cent less than in 2024.
