Engineers resolve technical issue with Artemis II flight termination system

NASA’s Artemis II astronauts have been told they are now “go for launch” after a brief concern the launch may be scrapped due to a technical issue. Engineers confirmed there was a minor issue with the flight termination system. The onboard system would cause the craft to explode if it veered off course and was headed for populated areas on Earth. Engineers have now solved the issue, and the NASA ground team have confirmed, “launch is a go”.
