Enbridge is writing pro-gas resolutions and Ontario municipalities are passing them

In August 2025, the province launched Ontario’s Environmental Registry consultation on expanding natural gas usage. Soon after, Enbridge sent municipalities across Ontario a ready-made lobbying package complete with draft resolutions, template support letters and pre-written responses.
