Emaar reports Q1 profit surge to AED 6.4 billion on strong property demand

Dubai: Emaar Properties announced a strong start to 2026, driven by continued demand across its key business sectors, disciplined execution, and the diversification of its business model.The company’s net profit for the first quarter rose by 38.3 to AED 6.412 billion, compared to AED 4.635 billion in the same period last year.Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) increased by 34, reflecting operating efficiency, the quality of the portfolio, and continued cost discipline.

EBITDA reached AED 7.2 billion during the period.Real estate sales totalled approximately AED 22.4 billion, marking a 16 year-on-year increase, supported by strong demand for Emaar’s existing communities and new project launches in the UAE.Total revenues for the first quarter reached AED 12.4 billion, up 23 compared to the same period in 2025, supported by contributions from both domestic and international operations.The company said continued sales momentum, a stable recurring revenue base, and strong operational performance contributed to the strength of its financial performance and improved visibility of future revenues.Accumulated revenue from projects under construction reached AED 163.4 billion as of March 31, 2026, representing a 29 annual increase and reinforcing revenue visibility in the coming years.Emaar said the results reflect the quality of its earnings structure, supported by balanced growth in real estate development and recurring revenue-generating businesses.
