The Ministry of Transport, represented by the National Authority for Tunnels (NAT), has signed a cooperation agreement with Germany’s Siemens Mobility to conduct a comprehensive feasibility study on extending the High-Speed Rail (HSR) network deeper into Alexandria. The initiative aims to move beyond the current plan of terminating at stations on the city’s western outskirts.
