Center of the American Experiment President John Hinderaker says if US President Donald Trump withdraws from NATO, it would trigger a “constitutional conflict” with Congress. Mr Hinderaker told Sky News Australia that the constitutional conflicts in connection with foreign policy “are not that unusual”. “Trump, I think may withdraw from NATO, I think it’s more likely, though, he also has the alternative of not formally withdrawing from the Treaty but simply downgrading the NATO alliance.”
