Former Australian ambassador to Lebanon Ian Parmeter says it seems like US President Donald Trump “wants to get out” of his war with Iran. Mr Parmeter told Sky News Australia that Donald Trump appears to have been “talked into” a war with Iran by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “Interestingly, it’s the first time that the US and Iran have actually operated together in a war.”
