Divisional Chiefs conflicted over Heath Goldfields’ control of Bogoso-Prestea mine

Just six days ago, the Divisional Chiefs of Bogoso-Prestea sent a petition to President John Dramani Mahama, calling for the government to intervene and place the Bogoso-Prestea Mine under a financially capable investor, pointedly questioning whether Heath Goldfields had the capacity to develop the asset. This week, the same three chiefs are preparing to send a letter to the President, lavishing praise on Heath Goldfields and commending the company's bold and timely investment.
