Cooper Flagg has been named the 2025-26 NBA Rookie of the Year, beating out former Duke teammate Kon Knueppel. Flagg received 56 first place votes compared to 44 for Knueppel Flagg averaged 21.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.2 steals in 33.5 minutes over 70 games for the Dallas Mavericks. Flagg was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NBA draft out of Duke.
