Cold storage fire in Wando traps firefighters, one dead

A fire at a cold storage warehouse in Wando, South Jeolla Province, left one firefighter dead and another missing on Saturday, as authorities continued search and containment efforts. The blaze broke out at about 8:25 a.m. in a warehouse in Gunoe-myeon, Wando, with fire crews dispatched to the scene, according to officials. Two firefighters became trapped inside the facility while battling the blaze.
