Bloomberg Leaks Transcript of Orbán–Putin Phone Call

A Bloomberg report has revealed details of a 2025 phone call between Viktor Orbán and Vladimir Putin, from the time when Budapest was floated as a potential venue for a US–Russia peace summit on Ukraine. The leaked transcript comes as Hungary’s close ties to Moscow come under increasing scrutiny from within the EU and Orbán’s opposition ahead of the 12 April election.
