ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — Police are theorising robbery as the motive behind the shooting death of a bartender and nail technician in Red Bank, St Elizabeth on Thursday night.Police identified the murder victim as 39-year-old Nicola Facey.A police report said about 10:51 pm, Facey was walking on a roadway in Red Bank when a car drove up to her and men alighted, demanding her personal belongings.

She reportedly resisted and a struggle ensued during which she was shot. Police said Facey’s purse was stolen by her attackers.Police are also probing a case of abduction involving a woman who was reportedly forced into a car at gunpoint in the neighbouring community of Rose Hall, also on Thursday night.
